Accompanying the substitution of an essential part of the established product range of an enterprise producing electric devices, a new marketing tool was developed, distinguishing itself by several characteristics:

  • vivid presentation of new products and unique selling points of the product system via movies and zoom in/out methods
    target groups: architects, project managers
  • demonstration of product functionalities and advantages, via detailed installation sequences
    target group: practitioners
  • support of goal oriented product search via intuitive graphical product navigation
    teaching of product system knowledge, parallel to the ordering process
    avoidance of wrong orders and assistance of complete orders by parameterized object oriented product system hierarchy
    target group: customers
  • creation of all visualizations accrued from CAD data for displays in all marketing media
    target groups: marketing, content management
