Dear Analog Insydes user,
we proudly announce the availability of the new release of our product
Analog Insydes 2011
Please find below the latest information concerning the new version of
our circuit analysis and design toolbox Analog Insydes(tm) for
Mathematica(r).
Additional information can be obtained from our new web domain at

1. Release Version 2011 -- What's new?
======================
Analog Insydes 2011, the new release of the software tool for symbolic
modeling and analysis of analog circuits contains a large number of
improvements to support the design of modern circuits. The enhanced
functionality facilitates even more extensive analyses of the
considered circuit and extended insights into its behavior. With this
knowledge problems can be solved, that are not feasible using purely
numeric methods. Thus, Analog Insydes 2011 accelerates the design
process and contributes significantly to the optimization of analog
circuits. Furthermore, many new features allow a more efficient
handling of modern circuits.
Below, the most important improvements of Analog Insydes 2011 are
listed:
+ Symbolic handling of transient systems
- generation of transient, parametrized models, that keep track of the
dynamic attributes of the circuit
- mixed symbolic-numerical techniques for reducing transient nonlinear
systems
- analysis of the complete static and dynamic system behavior
- interfaces for exporting transient behavioral models
+ Enhanced model order reduction
- mixed symbolic-numerical model reduction procedure to handle more
complex linear and nonlinear systems of equations
- generation of compact models to be most suitable for meaningful
analyses and accurate simulations
+ More efficient simulations
- new sequential equation structure reduces the system complexity of
the resulting analog circuits without any loss in the model
accuracy
- more efficient numeric evaluation significantly accelerates solving
and simulating
- higher computational robustness for simulating industrial-sized
systems
+ New data objects
- standardized handling of large data sets
- avoiding losing track during the Analog Insydes-session
+ Extended model library
- adding the BSIM3v3 small-signal and large-signal model to the Analog
Insydes 2011 model library
+ User-definable interfaces
- import and export netlists and simulation data of custom formats
+ New documentation
- extended and additional function descriptions
- new demo files and tutorials presenting the most common workflows
- new design of the Analog Insydes documentation
The release version comes with a detailed installation guide which
helps you through the easy installation process.
The following systems are officially supported:
o Windows (9x/NT/200x/XP or higher)
o i386/x86_64 Linux (ELF), libc6
o Mac OS X 10.4 or higher
However, Analog Insydes runs on any platform that is supported by
Mathematica.
If you are not working on one of the above platforms you can run Analog
Insydes but a few functions may be unavailable or may work with reduced
performance.
