Analog Insydes Newsletter No. 6, August 28, 2002
Fraunhofer ITWM
Dear Analog Insydes user,
please find below the latest information concerning Analog Insydes(tm)
for Mathematica(r).
1. Mathematica 4.2 Compatibility
================================
Wolfram Research Inc. recently announced the availability of
Mathematica 4.2. As a member of the Mathematica 4.2 beta test
program, we discovered no compatibility problems with Analog Insydes
Version 2. To our knowledge you can run Analog Insydes Version 2
using Mathematica 4.2 without any restrictions.
2. Course on Analog Circuit Design
==================================
In cooperation with CANdiensten (http://www.candiensten.nl) we proudly
announce the training course
Analog Circuit Design - Symbolic Modeling and Analysis Methods with
Analog Insydes
which takes place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on September 19-20.
More information about this course can be found at
www.candiensten.nl/english/cursussen/cursussendetail.asp
Registration can be done via the web site
www.candiensten.nl/english/cursussen/inschrijving.asp
3. Notebook Files and Version Control Systems
=============================================
Although Mathematica notebook files are written in ASCII format, they
are not well suited for direct usage with a version control system
(like CVS) due to cache data added to the file when stored. We
developed Perl scripts for preparing notebook files for usage within a
version control system. These scripts are available for download from
our homepage at
www.analog-insydes.de/utilities.html
Note that the scripts are for free and licensed with the GNU General
Public License.
4. Publications
===============
Recently we updated the list of publications related to the field of
symbolic circuit design, which can be found at
www.analog-insydes.de/publications.html
In case you are interested in one of the cited publications, please
contact us.
With best regards,
