Machine Learning is a key technology in the development of intelligent systems. A crucial role plays the ability to automatize and optimize processes and applications in a data-driven manner. When considering the increasing complexity and interdependency of systems, the difficulties appearing with the explicit modelling of these systems shows the importance of data-driven methods. The intelligence of software, hardware, and processes has long been a competitive advantage.

The project was made up by 4 institutes of the Fraunhofer society and 4 institutes of the Max-Planck society. The project has the aim to intensify the collaboration between Fraunhofer and Max-Planck society. The following institutions are involved:
