Typically a newly developed van has to withstand the test runs in order to prove that it meets the requirements in stability and safety. However, test rigs show a lot of advantage compared to conventional test runs. Some of these are:

  • Weather independency
  • Repeatability
  • Semi-automatic operation at all hours
  • Flexible change of loads possible
  • Den Prüfstand mit allen Massen und Gelenken (Kolben, Zylinder, Schalen, Verbindungen)
  • ein Modell der Hydraulik (einschließlich Servoventilen, Ölfluss, Kompressibilität des Hydrauliköls u.a.)
  • Regelung (modifizierter PID-Regler)
  • das Transporter-Gesamtfahrzeugmodell inklusive Reifen

With our model the user is able to gain informations about:

  • Variance of different tests with small changes to the initial configuration
  • Comparison of different loadings of the van
  • Optimization of the adjustments to the test rig
  • Effects of changes to the test rig
  • Pre iteration of differnet control signals
