Typically a newly developed van has to withstand the test runs in order to prove that it meets the requirements in stability and safety. However, test rigs show a lot of advantage compared to conventional test runs. Some of these are:
- Weather independency
- Repeatability
- Semi-automatic operation at all hours
- Flexible change of loads possible
- Den Prüfstand mit allen Massen und Gelenken (Kolben, Zylinder, Schalen, Verbindungen)
- ein Modell der Hydraulik (einschließlich Servoventilen, Ölfluss, Kompressibilität des Hydrauliköls u.a.)
- Regelung (modifizierter PID-Regler)
- das Transporter-Gesamtfahrzeugmodell inklusive Reifen
With our model the user is able to gain informations about:
- Variance of different tests with small changes to the initial configuration
- Comparison of different loadings of the van
- Optimization of the adjustments to the test rig
- Effects of changes to the test rig
- Pre iteration of differnet control signals
