The CADFEM Ansys Simulation Conference is one of the largest annual application conference for numerical simulation. Participants can expect many exciting presentations from different experts on various topics related to the simulation of dynamic tasks. Our expert, Dr. Klaus Dreßler (Division Director »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering«), will start the event as a keynotespeaker with his presentation on the topic »Dynamik-Simulation in der Fahrzeugentwicklung« (only available in German). The talk will give an insight into the role and importance of dynamic structure and system simulation (MKS) in vehicle engineering.

»Dynamics Simulation in Vehicle Engineering«(German talk):

»The presentation gives an insight into the role and importance of dynamic structure and system simulation (MBS) in vehicle engineering. The classical and current application fields of vehicle dynamics, load path simulation, energy flow simulation and hybrid simulation (HIL, driving simulators) for the validation of ADAS will be presented and each discussed with an example. We then go into somewhat more detail on the following selected challenges and current topics:

Invariant loading and simulation with extended system boundaries,
AI in system simulation (identification of dynamic systems / reinforcement learning / surrogate models for increased performance),
Co-simulation / hybrid real-time simulation / driving simulators,
Simulation of highly deformable structures (application: cables and hoses, human models)«
