BMBF-Innovationsforum »Zivile Sicherheit« 2022
»Prepared for tomorrow – shaping the future of civil security«. This is the motto of the two-day conference which the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is organizing this year in Berlin for actors from science, industry, politics, and user groups.
Our colleagues Dr. Elisabeth Leoff, Dr. Henrike Stephani, Yannick Becker and Florian Trefz from the departments »Financial Mathematics« and »Image Processing« will present our project »PflegeForensik«. In the BMBF-funded project, we are working together with the Dresden Public Prosecutor's Office and the Commissariat for Economic Crime of the Leipzig Police Department to combat billing fraud in the care sector and are developing AI software to support the authorities in this process.
The aim of the event is to support the exchange within the expert scene and to give impulses to challenges and future questions of civil security.
