11. Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis (TRISTAN XI)

This year the 11th Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis (TRISTAN XI) will take place. The TRISTAN Symposium is an opportunity to present the latest research results and applications in the field of traffic analysis and transport science.

Our institute director and AI pilot Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel will give a presentation on »Line Planning for Different Demand Periods«. In addition, our colleague Dr. rer. nat. Alexander Schiewe from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« will give a lecture on »Energy-Optimal Public Transport«, with colleagues Dr. Michael Burger from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« and Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel as co-authors.

Previous TRISTAN symposia have established a tradition of a symposium of high scientific quality, with much interaction during and outside the technical sessions, a good sense of community and enriching and enjoyable social tours.

Over 300 academics, researchers and practitioners from all over the world are expected to discuss mathematical models, methods and computational results and exchange ideas on advanced applications and technologies in transport.
