Conference

This year, the »International Conference on Statistics and Data Science« will be held for the first time, with the goal of expanding membership in emerging areas of computer science, in underrepresented groups, and in regions outside North America. Experts from our department »Image Processing«  will also be present and will give an exciting talk on »Finding and Characterizing Cracks in Concrete«.

The ICSDS aims to bring together researchers in statistics and data science from academia, industry, and government to exchange ideas on developments in modern statistics, machine learning (ML), and data science theories, methods, and applications.

The conference will consist of plenary sessions and approximately 50 sessions, contributed papers, and posters. Young researchers are especially encouraged to attend, as a portion of the invited sessions will be dedicated to this group.
