Conference

The annual conference of the German Association for Materials Research and Testing in 2023 will be dominated by digitalization, which is creating new impetus in many respects with regard to fatigue strength design. Digital methods and models are becoming increasingly important both in material characterization and in virtual testing methods and, with regard to the thematic focus on sustainability, in the field of fatigue testing.

Our colleagues Dr. Klaus Dreßler, division manager »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering«, and Dr. Michael Burger will represent the Fraunhofer ITWM on site at an own exhibition booth. In addition, they will give a lecture on »Load Transfer for Tractor Variants« together with some representatives of John Deere.

The conference consists of various lectures and panel discussions. It is aimed not only at the vehicle industry, but also at experts from other technical fields in which the fatigue design of components and systems plays a role.
