March 8 is International Women's Day – a day to celebrate successes, draw attention to challenges and drive change. Together with Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE, the city's Equal Opportunities Officer, the Ada Lovelace Project Kaiserslautern and 42kaiserslautern gGmbH, we have put together a varied program for this day.

Fraunhofer Kaiserslautern invites you to an inspiring panel discussion at 11 a.m. at 42kaiserslautern. The focus will be on women from research who will share their experiences and talk to the audience. You can look forward to exciting insights from women in research and the presentation of the book »Forscherinnen im Fokus – Wir schaffen Veränderung«. It presents individual career paths and impressive research projects by female scientists in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

What obstacles are there for women in science? How can we create new perspectives together? This is an opportunity to get into conversation, ask questions and take away new ideas.

The inspiring talks and a poster exhibition on women in science and research will be followed by a relaxed walk. This offers the opportunity to get into conversation in a relaxed atmosphere, make new contacts, meet like-minded people and enjoy the fresh air at the same time.
