Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWMThe series of European Conference on Mathematics for Industry (ECMI) conferences are devoted to enforce the interaction between academy and industry, leading to innovations in both fields. These events have attracted leading experts from business, science and academia, and have promoted the application of novel mathematical technologies to industry. We hope that ECMI 2018 will further enhance multidisciplinary research and development both in academia and industry, leading to the formulation of challenging real-life problems, where mathematics may provide significant new insights and at the same time may be inspired by those interactions.

Our expert Joachim Linn from the department »Mathematical Methods in Dynamics and Durability« is organizing an additional symposium together with Bernd Simeon from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. The symposium will take place on Friday from 10:20 - 12:00 in the »Uranus« room. All lectures come from the cooperation of the TU Kaiserslautern (AG Simeon) with the University of Erlangen (LTD, AG Leyendecker) and our department in the BMBF project Dymara.

A ticket for the conference costs 470€ for an ECMI member, 530€ for a non-member and 310€ for a student. There are cheaper tickets available for an early registration. Ticktes for one day cost 150€.
