Exhibition of the Science & Innovation Alliance in the K in Lautern

The Science & Innovation Alliance Kaiserslautern is an association of the TU with renowned research institutions at the technology location Kaiserslautern, which offers students, scientists and cooperation partners from economy, administration and industry an interdisciplinary network. The exhibition "Forschung in Kaiserslautern: Ein Blick in die digitale Zukunft" is intended to give the general public a glimpse into regional research.

As Fraunhofer Institute we are also a member of the Science & Innovation Alliance and participate in the exhibition with several exhibits and our local expertise.

Exhibition

The group "Green by IT" of our department "High Performance Computing" presents its work in the field of the energy revolution and renewable energies. The focus of the exhibition is on Amperix, the manufacturer-neutral energy management system with its optimized control of battery systems, heat pumps and charging stations for electric vehicles, which establishes an energy hub for households and industry.

We also use this opportunity to present our supplement bild der wissenschaft plus. In this special supplement entitled "Erfolgsformeln - Wie die Mathematik Technik und Wirtschaft nach vorn bringt", some of the topics of our research work have been prepared for a broad readership and thus provide a good overview of our current projects. The supplement can also be downloaded free of charge from our website for the bild der wissenschaft plus, but is unfortunatly only available in German.
