Braunschweig / March 12, 2019 - March 13, 2019
16th Symposium on Modeling and Experimental Validation of Electrochemical Energy Technologies
ModVal 2019
ModVal 2019
The aim of the symposium is to present and discuss recent advances in science and technology that are related to the modelling and simulation of fuel cells, batteries and other electrochemical energy cells as well as to the respective experimental techniques for model validation.
In addition to the keynote talks, the lectures in the symposium are divided into two parallel sessions: "Batteries" and "Electrochemical Energy Conversion". The more detailed program is:
Tuesday, 12th March 2019
Subsequent, there will be a poster session as well as an excursion. We will present our poster on the topic: "Investigations of physics-based equivalent circuit models for the simulation of Li-Ion cells".
Wednesday, 13th March 2019
Our expert of the department »Flow and Material Simulation« Jochen Zausch presents at 9:40 a.m. a talk on "Investigations on spatial fluctuations in microscopic battery simulations and the role of the open-circuit potential" in Session A, Micro Structures.
