About Us
Our experts of the department »Materials Characterization and Testing« present their research with Terahertz and Micrometer waves. Among other things, these waves allow non-destructive testing of materials, which is of particular interest for aircraft components. For example, a millimeter-wave terahertz system developed by us checks radar domes in aircraft (radome) for possible defects during production.
