Distributed Model Predictive Control with Event-Triggered Communication
Abstracts:
In the first part of the talk, an output-based model predictive controller for the control of constrained LTI systems with event-triggered communication between sensor and controller as well as controller and actuator is presented. The approach is extended for the decentralized control of dynamically coupled LTI subsystems. Moreover, the influence of time-delays in the networks is discussed.
In the second part, a distributed MPC approach with event-triggered communication for linear periodically time-varying systems is presented. The approach is tested for a model of the water distribution network of the city of Kaiserslautern.
