The International Conference in Münster

The Advanced Battery Power Conference is part of the 16th Battery Conference of the cooperation partners Haus der Technik, ISEA Institute, RWTH Aachen University, MEET Battery Research Center of the University of Münster and brings together engineers and scientists from the entire field of battery technology, thus enabling an exchange between industry and science.

Presentations on various topics will be given at the conference. Our expert Dr. Jochen Zausch from the department »Flow and Material Simulation« will be presenting a poster on »Electrolyte Wetting in the Production of Lithium Ion Batteries: A Simulation Approach«.

In addition, there will be an exhibition by various companies where participants can find out about products and developments relating to electrical storage solutions, battery production and applications.

BEST is our software environment for the physics-based three-dimensional Multiscale Simulation of Lithium-ion batteries.

In contrast to phenomenological surrogate models, »physics-based« means we describe ion, charge and energy transport by physical laws formulated as partial differential equation.
