Seminar With Practical Course »Surface Inspection«

The »Surface Inspection« seminar of the Fraunhofer »Vision« business unit focuses on the modern detection of 3D surface structures down to the nanometer range. Participants will learn about various inspection and analysis methods and gain insights into successful practical examples. The aim is to demonstrate the possibilities and limitations of automatic surface inspection and to give them an understanding of these in order to support them in their own investment planning.

Markus Rauhut, Head of the »Image Processing« department and Deputy Head of Department Dr. Henrike Stephani are on site. As part of the event, Henrike Stephani gives a presentation on »Typical Structure and Examples of Algorithms for Surface Inspection Systems«. Markus Rauhut speaks on the topic of »Thinking Outside the Box of Classic Surface Inspection«. And Kai Taeubner and Jasmin Heyser lead the station on the topic »Modular System for Surface Inspection«.
