PaintExpo is the international trade fair for innovations, applications, future technologies, and trends, showcasing the international range of products and services along the entire industrial coating value chain.

We are represented on site by a team from the “Material Characterization and Testing” department and will present an exhibit on the topic of “Coating and paint thickness measurement of single and multi-layer coatings using terahertz measurement technology.” The focus is on painted plastic components. In addition to layer thickness measurement, the measuring system used also enables the radar performance of painted plastic components to be measured in the frequency range between 76 GHz and 81 GHz.
