FILTECH 2026
Hall 7, Booth M15
Hall 7, Booth M15
FILTECH 2026 is an international platform for the filtration industry, offering insights into the latest technological developments and innovative solutions in the fields of filtration and separation.
Our experts, Dr. Ralf Kirsch, a member of the Scientific Committee of the FILTECH Conference, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Mercier from the division »Processes and Materials«, are on site with specialist presentations and a booth. The focus is on simulation-based approaches for the development and optimization of filter media and manufacturing processes – from nonwoven production to filter pleats and filter elements, all the way to the filtration of polymer melts.
In addition, they demonstrate how the entire process chain – from filament to end products such as protective masks or pleated filters – can be modeled to shorten development times and bring products to market faster.
Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 1:00 – 2:15 p.m., Room 3
Dr. Ralf Kirsch gives a presentation titled »Next Generation FFP2: Simulation-Based Optimization of Processes and Materials for Respiratory Protective Masks« in Session G01, »Face Masks«.
Wednesday, July 1, 2026
9:00–10:15 a.m., Room 3
Dr. Ralf Kirsch hosts Session G05, »Industrial and HVAC Applications«.
4:45 – 6:00 p.m., Room 1
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Mercier is part of Session F06 »Enhancement of Filter Media Performance II« with a presentation on the topic »Simulation of the Filter Performance of Wire Meshes for the Filtration of Polymer Melts«.
