Our simulations directly in your browser: Secure, scalable, and device-independent

SWUI is our web platform that combines a growing number of our simulation solutions into a single, intuitive interface. With SWUI, you can run and manage simulation codes developed at ITWM directly in your browser. Our platform visualizes results independently of the device—from smartphones to desktops.

The platform supports both established and experimental simulation codes and enables their coupling in the future. Interactive 3D visualizations and basic data analyses take place directly on the browser.

SWUI is designed as a flexible platform and is continuously being developed. The platform opens up new opportunities for research and industry:

  • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
    Simulation codes can be provided directly via a web interface. For researchers, this means easy access to powerful solvers without local installation; for industrial companies, it means the ability to use simulations efficiently as a service.
  • On-premise installations
    SWUI infrastructure can also be operated on-site in the future. This gives research institutions maximum control over their data and computing resources, while industrial partners can securely integrate sensitive processes into their own IT landscape.
  • Customized simulation services
    Individual solutions are tailored directly to the requirements of the users. Researchers benefit from specialized functions for their projects, while companies receive customized simulation tools that are precisely tailored to their processes.

FOAM – Simulation of PU Foams

Our FOAM solver simulates the expansion process of PU foams in any given geometry and offers the possibility to calculate the foam formation process.

 

FLUID – Simulation software for complex fluids

FLUID is a software for simulations with highly complex non-Newtonian multi-phase fluid phenomena.

 

GRAIN – Granular and Bulk Flow Simulation

GRAIN is an infrastructure for the design of products and processes which involve granular media.

 

BEST – Battery and Electrochemistry Simulation Tool

BEST is a software environment for physics-based, three-dimensional simulation of lithium-ion batteries.

 

SPOT – Spin Pattern Optimization Tool

With SPOT, we have developed a software tool that specifically optimizes the hole patterns of spinnerets, thereby significantly improving the distribution of quench air.
