The online conference offers interested participants a compact overview of the diverse key competencies of Rhineland-Palatinate's research institutions and their potential for industrial value creation in the security and defense industry.

Six research institutions introduce themselves and present their expertise in short presentations. Afterwards, the speakers answer questions. The aim of the event is to stimulate innovation and cooperation between science and industry.

Our expert Dr. Michael Burger, Head of the department »Dynamics, Loads, and Environmental Data« in the division of »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering«, presents the institute’s research and project expertise in the context of the security and defense industry. Key areas include digital environmental data, load data and durability, as well as dynamics and system simulation.

The conference is organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture and is aimed at representatives from all industrial sectors with an interest in security and defense-related research.
