How can artificial intelligence support the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases? The »AI4Lungs« project and the accompanying »AI4LUNGS Awareness Workshop« are dedicated to addressing this question. The online event provides practical insights into current AI solutions for the healthcare sector and demonstrates how these solutions can already support clinical decision-making today. 

The focus is on application examples from the European research project »AI4Lungs«. Among other things, the event showcases clinical decision support systems, user-friendly interfaces, and machine learning approaches aimed at improving diagnosis and treatment. In addition, participants discuss how AI solutions can be responsibly integrated into clinical practice. Topics such as transparency, trust, and the handling of health data play an important role in this context.

Goal of the event: The workshop aims to raise awareness of how artificial intelligence is used in pulmonology, with a focus on AI-based solutions that support diagnosis and treatment in clinical practice.

It offers practical insights into current developments and promotes discussion on how these solutions can be integrated into healthcare systems.

The event is aimed at professionals from the fields of medicine, science, and healthcare, as well as stakeholders in the digital health sector. The workshop takes place online and in English.
