In the webinar, Hexagon presents its latest battery solution »Digimat«, which was developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer ITWM and is based on our simulation tool BEST (Battery and Electrochemistry Simulation Tool). Our expert Dr. Jochen Zausch gives a brief overview of our work in the field of »Battery Simulation«.

BEST enables the three-dimensional, physically based multiscale simulation of lithium-ion batteries. The transport of ions, charge and energy is described by physical laws that are modeled as partial differential equations.
