International Conference Automotive Wire Harness
The International Conference Automotive Wire Harness is a platform for presenting and discussing the development and manufacture of vehicle electrical systems in the automotive sector.
Our expert Dr. Fabio Julian Schneider-Jung from the field of »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« is there. He gives a joint presentation with Dr. Lukas Fraska from the GG Group.
In his presentation on »Enhanced Cable Fatigue Prediction – Simulating the Impact of Flexible Clips on the Lifetime of Automotive Harnesses,« he highlights the role of flexible clips in the fatigue of cable harnesses in vehicles. He focuses in particular on simulation techniques that can be used to better predict the service life of cable harnesses under realistic conditions. By using improved simulation models, the dynamic loads caused by clips and other fasteners can be recorded more accurately and included in the service life calculation. The aim is to support the development of more robust cable systems and thus increase both the reliability and safety of modern vehicles.
