The »Surface in Motion« is a trade fair focused on innovative surface and coating technologies, bringing together experts from various industries to present the latest developments, technologies, and trends and to exchange ideas on solutions.

At the event, our colleague Markus Rauhut from the »Image Processing and Inspection Systems« department will give a presentation together with Timon Burghardt from Hecht AG. Together with Hecht AG, our experts have developed an intelligent demonstrator that automatically detects and classifies quality deviations along edges. By combining expertise from research and industrial practice, we are addressing the growing demands for quality, product variety, and automation in the furniture industry.
