Conference

The conference is held in person for the first time since the project began. It brings together members of the NFDI4ING team, interested researchers, and representatives from industry, creating space for exchange, collaboration, and networking.

The focus is on the dialog surrounding research data management (RDM). Together, the participants discuss current challenges and use cases. These include the integration of data literacy into engineering education, the implementation of FAIR principles (Findable, Acessible, Interoperable, Reusable) in industry, and the development of federated infrastructures for digital objects, data products, and knowledge graphs.

In addition to interactive formats and diverse networking opportunities, the program also includes various presentations. One of the speakers is our expert Dr. Jochen Fiedler from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering«. The title of his presentation is: »LLM-Assisted Extraction of Mathematical Model Metadata for FAIR Reuse«.
