Conference

The conference of the International Congress on Mathematical Software 2026 (ICMS 2026) brings together mathematicians and computer scientists who are involved in the development of mathematical software.

In individual sessions, current developments, methods, and applications are presented. Our colleagues from the »Analytics and Computing« division are on site and will present their work as part of Session 4: »Advances in Computer Algebra: Parallel Methods, AI, and Applications in Physics«. They will provide insights into current research on parallel computation networks based on Petri nets, the parallel implementation of Buchberger’s algorithm in Singular and GPI-Space with applications to Feynman integrals, as well as algorithmic approaches to determining minimal model surfaces.
