University Information Event

The Tag der Mathematik is an information event organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), which is primarily aimed at secondary school pupils of all grades, accompanying teachers and parents, as well as students.

Every two years, shortly before the summer vacations, a varied program is offered on the topic of Mathematics. There is a full program with lectures, workshops and exhibitions. Anyone interested will also find information on the requirements, procedure and advantages of studying mathematics in Kaiserslautern.

As an institute, we will be represented with an information booth where we will present career opportunities and everyday working life at the Fraunhofer ITWM. Experts from the departments will also give four presentations under the motto »People Do Math: 30 Years of Applied Mathematics at Fraunhofer ITWM«.
