The »International Conference on Mobile and Miniaturized Terahertz Systems« (ICM2TS) is an international scientific conference focused on the development and application of compact, mobile terahertz systems. Its core emphasis lies on innovative technologies that leverage terahertz frequencies to enable new possibilities for highly precise measurement and analysis methods.

The aim of ICM2TS is to promote international exchange on scientific and technological advances in the field of miniaturized and mobile terahertz systems. Dr. Maris Bauer from our »Material Characterization and Testing« department is representing the Fraunhofer ITWM. Under the title »Mobile Terahertz FMCW Systems for the Inspection of Glass Fiber-Reinforced Composites and Paint Layers«, he presents current research findings on the non-destructive testing of fiber-reinforced polymers and coating systems.
