Becoming a Mathematician – Yes or No?

Just Try It Out at the Talent School!

The Math Talent School is aimed at female students with a passion for mathematics who would like to gain exciting insights into the professional world of mathematicians. It is particularly aimed at those who want to learn more about »Applied Mathematics« and exchange ideas with like-minded people.

Over five varied workshop days, participants have the opportunity to discover how industrial problems can be solved in a project-oriented way using mathematical modeling, optimization and computer simulations. At the end of the program, the teams present their results in a plenary session.

A special highlight is the introductory course offered, which gives participants the opportunity to gain their first programming experience. This allows them to find out whether they enjoy the combination of mathematics and computer science.

In addition, information about studying mathematics and the career profile of female mathematicians will be provided, supplemented by various activities to round off the event.
