Linz, Austria, Workshop / October 27, 2025 - October 31, 2025
RICAM The Special Semester on Computational Methods for Electric Machines
The workshop, organized by the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM), features presentations from leading experts in advanced methods of computational design optimization for engineering applications. Topics include parametric and free-form shape optimization, topology optimization, (de-)homogenization, as well as the consideration of multiphysics phenomena and manufacturing constraints.
The goal of the workshop is to bridge theoretical approaches and practical applications, and to foster exchange on current developments and challenges in the field.
Our expert, Dr. Sebastian Blauth, from the department »Transport Processes« is on site and presents on »Fluid Dynamical Shape Optimization for Industrial Applications«.
His presentation also includes our software cashocs, which is specifically developed for shape optimization in fluid dynamics.
