The latest international innovations are showcased at »glasstec 2026«, the trade fair for the glass industry, in Düsseldorf. The fair provides a platform for experts to exchange experiences and information and serves as a hub for trends, technology, and markets. The focus is on solutions for current and future challenges facing the glass industry. In addition to recycling and the circular economy, many exhibitors are focusing on the use of AI and digital tools, as well as on reducing CO₂ emissions.
Our experts Dr. Jörg Kuhnert and Dr. Almut Eisenträger from the »Processes and Materials« department, are on site at the European Science Communication Institute’s booth for the EU project »EVERGLASS«, discussing glass recycling – a project in which MESHFREE is used for simulations.
