Congress

The »European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences« (ECCOMAS) is a scientific organization that brings together European associations with interests in the development and application of computational methods in applied sciences and technologies;

This year ECCOMAS is organizing the ninth ECCOMAS Congress, which provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in the field of scientific computing in engineering. Equal importance will be given to fundamental methods, scientific development and industrial applications. The Congress includes presentations by experts, special technological sessions (STS), contributions from research, education and industry as well as organized mini-symposia.

A team from our division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« will be on site. They will offer exciting insights into the research work of their department »Mathematics for the Digital Factory«. Dr. Chaitanya Sanghavi from the department »Transport Processes« will also be giving a presentation at the congress entitled »MESHFREE Simulations for the Automotive Industry«.
