Award of the Prize for Lifetime Achievement
On Friday, November 25, 2022, the award ceremony of the district association will take place at our institute. There are a total of 19 nominations for one main prize and one junior prize each; in addition, the Lifetime Achievement Award will honor Reinhold Gondrom in the Media Prize Palatinate and Erwin Wortelkamp in the field of fine arts (sculpture) as well as Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Helmut Neunzert in the Palatinate Future Prize.
As a professor of mathematics at the TU Kaiserslautern, Professor Neunzert contributed significantly to the development of techno and industrial mathematics, drove the founding of our institute and led it until its admission to the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in 2001.
