Work and Career Opportunities for People With Disabilities in Science and Research

On 4th December 2023, the career event of the Inclusion Initiative will take place. The aim of the event is to create a platform where organizations can inform about their career opportunities for talents with disabilities and connect with them.

Through virtual and interactive presentations, participants will learn more about the various work and career opportunities in research organizations and gain insights into the diverse fields of work in science and research. Various discussion formats enable personal exchange with other participants as well as with managers and employees with and without disabilities from the seven participating Allianz organizations.

Our employee Ina Lammel from the divison »Optimization« will participate in the event and report on her professional career and her everyday work and research with disabilities.

10.00 a.m. - Welcome and opening.
10.25 a.m. - Session 1: Work and career options and diversity management
11.30 a.m. - Lunch break
12.15 pm - Workshop: Impulses for career planning and Session 2: Study abroad and research funding for people with disabilities
1.25 p.m. - Jobtalk: Insights into lived inclusion from the perspective of employees of Allianz organizations
14.35 - Speed Meet Up: Opportunity for exchange as well as for establishing professional contacts, concrete insights into specific fields of activity
15.00 - Closing
