Under the umbrella of the project Sensor Edge Cloud for federated learning (SEC-Learn), the competences of eleven Fraunhofer institutes converge to address highly relevant challenges with the goal to identify novel approaches and achieve breakthrough innovations for next-generation computing. The aim is to develop a cutting-edge Fraunhofer platform for neuromorphic computing. This platform will enable federated learning with sensor nodes connected in the cloud. The core results will be a spike-based neuromorphic processor and a software stack enabling federated learning with Spiking Neural Network (SNN).

Our division High Performance Computing will be represented by our experts Dr. Jens Krüger, Nico Weber and Dominik Loroch with presentations.
