What Rules Do We Want for AI in Europe?

[The event will only be held in German]

The Open Digitalization Alliance Palatinate[only available in German] and the Department of Political Science at TU Kaiserslautern are organizing a panel discussion on »What rules do we want for AI in Europe?« on July 20, 2022.

New fields of application for artificial intelligence (AI) are emerging, our world is becoming more and more interconnected, and more and more data is being accessed and analyzed. This development needs rules to avoid a feeling of powerlessness or even exploitation by large technology corporations. How can, how should politics act to ensure trust and consent for the use of AI?

Panelists Stefan Hessel, LL.M. (lawyer), Dr. Pascal König (TU Kaiserslautern), Tobias Krafft, M.Sc. (Algorithm Accountability Lab) and our expert, Dr. Henrike Stephani (speaker of the AI pilot for Rhineland-Palatinate) will discuss these rules and contribute their respective expertise in the various areas.
