Conference

The NAFEMS World Conference 2023 (the International Association of the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation) is a worldwide community that focuses on engineering simulation and allows experts from different industries to exchange ideas. On a total of three days there will be an opportunity to advance technology and discuss new ideas.

Our colleague Dr. Matthias Kabel, deputy head of the department »Flow and Material Simulation« will hold a lecture with the title »Bending Simulations of CFRP Laminates«.

Our own software »FeelMath« from the field of simulation calculates the effective anisotropic mechanical and thermal behavior of microstructures given by volume images or analytical descriptions. The direct benefit of this software is its use as a digital material laboratory for the determination of material properties. 

Another product is »GeoDict« an innovative and easy to use simulation software for digital material research and development, which is developed and distributed by the company Math2Market, a spin-off of our department »Flow and Material Simulation«.
