Annual Meeting of the Modelling Network for Severe Infectious Diseases

The second annual conference of the Modeling Network for Major Infectious Diseases (MONID), which will take place this year at the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina in Halle (Saale), offers participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts in the field of mathematical modeling of infectious diseases and related topics on the latest findings in these areas. In addition to the discussion opportunities, there will also be short presentations, poster presentations and lectures. 

Our experts Dr. Neele Leithäuser, deputy head of department and Arsha Sherly from the division »Optimization« and our experts Dr. Jan Mohring, Dr. Jarosław Wlazło and Marvin Schulte from the department »Transport Processes« will be on site.

Dr. Jan Mohring will give a talk entitled »Estimating the Covid-19 Prevalence from Wastewater« and Marvin Schulte will present his poster »Epidemiological Modeling with Multiple Virus Variants«.
