EAJ 2018
The European Actuarial Journal (EAJ) publishes research articles and survey articles as well as papers engaging the mutual transfer between research and practical applications. The EAJ focuses on the theory and methods for applications in insurance and finance.
The conference covers the wide field of actuarial science, pension funds, (re)insurance, mathematical finance, insurance analytics, risk management, asset liability management and solvency. The aim of the conference is to present cutting-edge research on these topics and (further) close the gap between industry and science.
Our experts Jörg Wenzel and Christian Laudagé from the department »Financial Mathematics« will give a lecture together with their colleague Sascha Desmettre from the TU Kaiserslautern on the topic »Severity Modeling of Extreme Insurance Claims«. The lecture will take place on Monday from 2:00pm to 2:25pm in room HOGM 01.85.
