Conference

This year, the Technology Days of the Fraunhofer business unit »Vision« for industrial quality assurance will take place at our institute. Participants can look forward to exciting short presentations from various Fraunhofer institutes, an exhibition in our seminar rooms and the opportunity to network on this topic area.

Our institute director Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel will open the event with an introductory welcome speech, providing participants with an overview of the topic »Quantum computing and its relevance for image processing«. Department head Markus Rauhut and Dr. Ronald Rösch from the department »Image Processing« and Dr. Joachim Jonuscheit from the department »Material Characterization and Testing« will also each give a lecture in the lecture hall at Fraunhofer ITWM. In addition, we will present one exhibit each to the two departments at the exhibition in our seminar rooms.

The Technology Days of the Fraunhofer Business Unit »Vision« are aimed at interested parties from industry, research, and development who are interested in the current status as well as information on the practical application of these technologies in an industrial environment. The accompanying trade exhibition offers a forum to deepen the dialog and to establish new cooperations.
