The German Actuarial Association (DAV) and the German Society for Actuarial and Financial Mathematics (DGVFM) are once again organising their autumn conference this year, where the »Actuarial Data Science« (ADS), »Enterprise Risk Management« (AFIR/ERM), ASTIN, »Health Insurance« (KRANKEN) and »Life Insurance« (LEBEN) committees will meet.

The two-day programme brings together experts from the largest insurance sectors in Germany, offers new insights into key topics in the industry and creates the opportunity for exchange and networking. The »DAV intern« format will also be continued in order to discuss the strategic direction of the DAV with its members. As in the previous year, the entire programme will also be offered online via livestream.

Our experts Dr Stefan Mai (Business Developer), Markus Willems (Business Area Developer »Retirement Provision and Life Insurance«) and Mark-Oliver Wolf (Research Coordinator) from the department »Financial Mathematics« will be on site with a stand and will present how our institute's research can simplify the work of insurance companies and strengthen consumer protection:

• How can artificial intelligence (AI) help insurance companies calculate solvency ratios?
• How does the »ALMSIM^®-Path Generator« software developed at our institute support insurance companies in implementing legal requirements?
• What methods are used to classify private pension products?
