Setting up an image analysis system for a specific task is still a complex matter, as all components such as lighting, lenses, camera and evaluation computer need to be coordinated. This raises the question of whether an image processing system can be set up virtually and systematically optimized.

This year, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA is hosting the event. Experts present advances in image processing. There is also planed a guided tour of the institute with some  demonstrations.

Our experts Dr. Petra Gospodnetic and Dr. Henrike Stephani, deputy head of the deparment »Image Processing«, will be on site. Dr. Petra Gospodnetic give a lecture entitled »The Pandora's Box of Synthetic Images for AI«.
