»Tell us your Lautrer math story!« is the motto of our video series. Pioneering technologies are developed on Kaiserslautern's unique Science Mile. Behind them are very special personalities. Of course, this is also due to the attractive location: The University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) with its excellent mathematics department and the world's largest institute for industrial mathematics, the Fraunhofer ITWM, are within walking distance and all benefit from the synergies. In the current video, we asked two female mathematicians what it is like to work at our institute or to study in Kaiserslautern – as a female mathematician in a rather male-dominated subject. Firoozeh Aga, PhD student at Fraunhofer ITWM, and Milena Röhrs, math student at RPTU Kaiserslautern, give an insight into their Lautrer math story.
