SAMOP23 Conference

The Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (German Physical Society) holds its annual spring meeting of the »Section Atoms, Molecules, Quantum Optics and Photonics« (SAMOP) at the University in Hannover.

Two colleagues from our department »Materials Characterization and Testing« will participate in the meeting: Mirco Kutas will give a talk entitled »Terahertz Sensing With Undetected Photons« and Björn Haas will talk about »Phase-Quadrature Quantum Imaging With Undetected Light«.

Part of the event, in addition to the meeting itself are a series of plenary lectures, symposia and tutorials for all participants. In addition, Reinhard Werner from Leibniz Universität Hannover will give a public evening lecture on March 8, 2023 with the topic »The End of the Classical World - The Nobel Prize in Physics 2022«.
