Automated driving also challenges ride comfort. Even assistance systems for semi-autonomous driving require advanced chassis systems to improve vehicle dynamics, among other things. As part of chassis.tech plus, presentations on current technology will be given on this subject from various specialist areas.

Our colleagues Tim Rothmann, Sebastian Emmerich, Axel Gallrein, Manfred Bäcker and Francesco Calabrese from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Development« will represent us on site at exhibition booth 21. In addition, Francesco Calabrese will give a presentation entitled »Tire Virtualization and its Usage as a Digital Twin: a Modern Approach«.

The 14th International Munich Chassis Symposium chassis.tech plus brings together numerous experts in suspension, steering, brakes and tires as well as automated driving to exchange experiences. Here, innovative research and development activities are presented and constructively discussed for the first time.
