E-World Energy and Water is the meeting place for the European energy industry. The topics of E-world 2024 are innovative solutions for the energy supply of the future – from generation, transportation and storage to trading, efficiency and green technologies. Teams from the department »System Analysis, Prognosis and Control«, the division »Financial Mathematics« as well as a team from the division »High Performance Computing« are presenting their research in the energy sector.

We are represented by our experts Dr.-Ing. Vanessa Dörlich, Dr.-Ing. Michael Roller and Martina Stavole from our division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« and give presentations.

Maintenance in Dortmund is the leading trade fair for industrial maintenance, where experts and companies from various industries come together every year to learn about innovations and trends. Researchers from the »System Analysis, Prognosis and Control« and »Image Processing« departments are on site to present exciting topics.

Our course will help you gain a deeper understanding of the image processing workflow for industrial solutions. We cover the basics of image processing, including image enhancement, image restoration, image segmentation, and image analysis using ToolIP.

The Tire Technology Expo is the central European conference and trade fair for tire manufacturing technologies. Our colleagues from the »Mathematics for Vehicle Development« division are representing our institute on site with a short presentation on the basics of »CDTire«.

The JEC World trade fair brings together companies, start-ups and experts in the field of composite materials. Participants can find out about applications in various industries and expand their networks. Experts of the Fraunhofer ITWM will be presenting the exhibit »Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung von Verbundwerkstoffen« (Non-destructive Testing of Composite Materials) at the Fraunhofer joint booth 6C89.

MESHFREE can be used to simulate a variety of situations as it efficiently adapts to moving geometry elements such as agitators of mixing devices or the movement of free surfaces. In the training we give an overview of the tool and show how the software can best support your requirements.
