European Conference on Operational Research

Every year, the EURO – short for Association of European Operational Research Societies – organizes a conference on the topic of »Operational Research«. This is the scientific field of automated planning and optimization and ranges from classical mathematical modelling to methods of Artificial Intelligence.

The EURO conferences are organized every year by different EURO member companies. In 2024, the Danish OR Society (DORS) is organizing it at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Our Institute Director Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel will be on site in her role as President of the EURO and will give a presentation. Experts from our division »Optimization« and the department »Financial Mathematics« will also be on site and contribute to the program with exciting presentations.
