Digitization has become a megatrend in industries and societies in many countries around the world. Mathematical models and algorithms are the focus of this development.

The workshop of the High Performance Center Simulation and Software Based Innovation offers experts from industrial development and application-oriented research the opportunity to exchange views with outstanding experts from science as well as researchers from the performance center and industry on the use of digital technologies in material development.

It is our aim to give impulses and to reflect needs against the background of current research. We cordially invite you to this intensive dialogue between practice and science.

Event details

Program

Various speakers from six internationally active companies will give lectures on the subject. There will also be twelve short presentations by researchers from the performance centre and industry.

The workshop consists of three sessions per day. Our expert Michael Bortz, head of the department »Optimization - Technical Processes« , coordinates the content of the event. In addition, our experts give various lectures in each session:

Day 1

Industry: 690 EUR
(VAT is not charged according to § 4 No. 22a UStG)

Research staff (Universities, Fraunhofer ITWM): free of charge

*The participation fee includes the entitlement to participate in the event, the conference documents, catering during the workshop and the networking dinner. Invoicing takes place after the event.
